The Customer
In 2019 Andrea Mecacci, Giampiero Giunta and Alessandro Cavinato founded TRESARTI, with the mission of digitizing the Italian tailoring tradition, making it accessible for everyone. Via the app, users can choose their favourite model of shirt among 20 million combinations, take their own measures starting from a couple of smartphone pictures and receive it directly at home.

The Request
Being TRESARTI a made-to-order brand based on eCommerce, the idea of the founders was to show the 3D renders of 300 shirts, optimising the website publication time, the generation of the images for the eCommerce and minimizing the production of physical samples.
The Solution
Starting from fabric capture from samples (20 x 20 cm), we created photorealistic renders to replace 2D still life images, after having defined the views to be displayed in the eCommerce. The faithful digital replicas of the fabric textures enable potential customers to be more aware of what they are going to buy.
Therefore, making them perfectly tileable was fundamental, along with complying with the real scale to show a 3D render absolutely identical to the shirt the customer would receive at home.

Benefits for the customers
The digitization of the collection enabled TRESARTI to reduce the physical samples by 99%, the cost for the production of new prototypes by 90%, to shorten eCommerce website publication time by 80%, especially when changing seasonal collection and updating products. The costs related to the photo shooting are zeroed and CO2 emissions are reduced by 90%.
