HUGO BOSS date back to 1923 in Germany and the brand name takes inspiration from the founder Hugo Ferdinand Boss. The company specialized in the production of apparel, shoes, accessories and perfumes. both for men and women. Nowadays, there are over 5700 mono-brand and multi-brand stores all over the world.
The Request
One of the main production facilities for shoes and accessories entrusted us with the creation of a 3D video to train the sales team and show buyers the quality of “Made in Italy” footwear, in particular sneaker strobel, dress cemented, and sneaker cemented. The video had to show the differences between each shoemaking process and the features of every product line.
The Solution
Starting from image capturing of the three models of shoes, we generated the 3D videos with animations of the shoe divided into its components to be assembled according to each shoemaking technique. The main target of our 3D Team was to ensure a realistic object deformation in response to the movement of the shoe components, as well as a faithful output of the leather texture and of all the details of the accessories.
Benefits for the customer
The benefits of 3D technology for this project for HUGO BOSS involve various aspects. First of all, compared to a traditional video, production times and costs have been reduced.
Moreover, thanks to ultra-realistic and fluid animations, the perception of the correct assembly process is improved, providing a clearer message to the addresses.
Not to be forgotten, the possibility to easily update the video, replacing the old models with new ones undergoing the same production process.
Although the project was intended for internal use, it is important to underline how the same could be exploited as marketing content and sponsored to amplify brand awareness.
