The Customer

Farada is a recently launched UAE-based brand, specializing in the production of traditional handmade sandals, wallets and perfumes for men, women and kids. The mission is to innovate the traditional Arabic sandals by targeting a younger and more modern clientele. Today, there are 9 stores in the Dubai area, but the online presence is guaranteed by the eCommerce website.

The Request

In order to renew the collections, the brand decided to add new color variations and, after a very positive feedback by the market, to allow boutique customers to personalize the iconic DAVINCI sandals, enabling them to choose the material, upper, treaded sole, stitchings and accessories from a wide range of colors and leathers.

The Solution

Thanks to our omnichannel 3D configurator within the MTOSuite Retail web app, shoppers can create their own personalized sandals by choosing color and material of front and rear band leathers (both internal and external), sole stitching, upper lining and insole lining, accessory type and color.
The sandal is available in polished exotic leathers such as ostrich, Nabuk, quintino natural, and Oxford metallic. A special feature of this project is the possibility of printing geometric patterns by hot pressing. Once the customization is complete, the customer can view the product in real-time 3D and AR.

Benefits for the customers

Farada sponsored the project, which is aimed at Dubai and the entire Middle East region, on its social media, using 3D from a marketing point of view too, with the purpose of directly involving new generations, who are interested in personalizing every item they wear and entering an immersive shopping dimension, which make them more convinced of their purchase. Thanks to MTOsuite, the brand has streamlined the order taking phase, with the automatic generation of SKUs, EAN barcode, and recap emails to both the customer and the store manager. Another important point is the performance analysis in terms of sales, production and turnover within our OMS (Order Management System).
